Returning to the Rosebud

Thanks to a generous grant from the SSJ Mission Fund and the kindness of a benefactor who donated his frequent flyer miles, on Friday, August 4th, I will return to the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota.

For three weeks I will be among my beloved Lakota people there to offer Bereavement support. In addition, I plan to leave resources so they will able to offer Bereavement programs themselves after I depart. A comprehensive Bereavement library will be another legacy of this generous SSJ grant.

I know you will keep all of us in your good prayers. Please check back for regular updates on my adventures, if you like.

Remember--"Mitakuye Oyasin"--or, as my Lakota friends say, "We Are All Related."
