Arriving on the Reservation

After a day-and-a half of smooth travel, thank God, I made my way onto the Rosebud Reservation. My first stop was the home of Geraldine and Kenny Provencial. They lost their 23 year old son Justin in a tragic car crash on April 14, 2016.

Geraldine and I worked together in establishing the St. Francis Mission Recovery program while I was here 10 years ago. She now runs the program very competently. Geraldine also runs the Suicide Hotline on the Mission. The tragic loss of Justin is the worst of several losses she has endured. Geraldine and I are working together to establish the bereavement program I am here to implement.
